Build a green hydrogen ecosystem
Context & Objectives

Our client, a major industrial conglomerate, has set ambitious targets for decarbonizing its industrial activities. To achieve these objectives, it will need to produce significant volumes of green hydrogen.

Our objectives were to :

·       Inventory major innovations in the fields of production, conversion, transport and storage of the green hydrogen value chain,

·       Identify the companies and startups driving these innovations in Europe and Israel,

·       Establish a short list of the most promising companies and start-ups for partnerships to achieve medium andlong-term objectives,

·       In addition, description of the hydrogen importation ecosystem and relevant regulation in Europe.

Outcome

Strong recognition by our client that Emerton’s report was a relevant working basis to build their hydrogen ecosystem.

The shortlisted entities were approached as part of a European roadshow organized to discuss the terms of a partnership.
